Jeanette Marten

Jeanette Marten, a resident of Hot Springs Village since 1982, passed away on March 15, 2017 at age 95. She was born in 1921 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin to Harold and Alma Frohrib. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband of sixty years, Larry Marten and son, Jack Marten.

She is survived by one daughter Mary (Alan) Jackson of Centreville, MD; daughter-in-law, Denise Sasanas of Rhinelander, WI; four grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

Jeanette was a member of Christ Lutheran Church since 1982. She enjoyed playing bridge with several groups and was also a member of the 18-hole and 9-hole golf leagues for many years.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 31, 2017 at 2 PM at Christ Lutheran Church located at 103 Ponferrada Way, Hot Springs Village, AR 71909 with Rev. Dr. Warren Freiheit officiating, followed by internment in the columbarium at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Christ Lutheran Church Music Fund.
